I also write and direct…

Alongside my editing career, I work as a writer / director. Currently I’m very excited to have an original sitcom in development with Fudge Park.

Previous work includes C4-commissioned sitcom pilot script Life is Suffering, set on a meditation retreat. Not having any experience of retreats, I went to a Buddhist monastery for research and I confess I’m so impressionable that I now meditate every day…

I worked at the Guardian for three years, where I set up Guardian Original Dramas with producer Jess Gormley. I had the pleasure of directing Sir Patrick Stewart in “What has the ECHR ever done for us?” which won the Lovie Award for Best Comedy and was the Guardian's most watched film ever with 35 million views.

I wrote and directed Exploitation Exploitation Exploitation starring Daisy Haggard and Javone Prince, and sci fi The Intelligence Explosion starring Robert Emms and Alex Macqueen.

Cop Out, my Comedy Blap series for Channel 4 and Objective Productions starring Tom Brooke, led to a C4 commission for the TV pilot script and a development commission for sitcom What You Wish For.

I directed the successful Shakespeare Solos series, featuring Damian Lewis, Adrian Lester, David Threlfall, Riz Ahmed and Joanna Lumley, with millions of views online and a theatrical release (and a Bronze Lovie Award). I also directed sketches for Russell Howard's Good News.

Award-winning shorts include Penelope starring Juliet Stevenson and Hattie Morahan, and Veils starring Maureen Lipman.
