DAN SUSMAN is a writer, director and editor

Dan started directing at St John’s College, Cambridge, where he read philosophy. His first short film, UNINVITED starring Anna Madeley (MRS BEETON, AFFINITY) and Ben Silverstone (GET REAL), premiered at the East End Film Festival in London 2007. His second short film, VEILS, starring Maureen Lipman and Ray Panthaki, won the £10,000 UKJFF Short Film Prize 2007, and has been selected for several international festivals, including Raindance, Rushes Soho Shorts, Atlanta, Jerusalem & Tirana.

He also edited upcoming feature film BLOODED for Magma Pictures, was assistant editor for Lions Gate feature IN THE HANDS OF THE GODS, and edited award-winning documentary THIS IS MY AFRICA featuring Colin Firth and Jon Snow. TV editor credits include series for BBC and Discovery.

Most recently he directed MENTALISTS, an internet comedy series starring Olivia Poulet (In the Loop) and Sarah Solemani (Mrs Henderson Presents). Projects in development include a feature film, two comedy series, and a high-concept animated feature…
