    DAN SUSMAN is an award-winning writer and director, currently working for Guardian Online.

    His comedy about human rights starring Sir Patrick Stewart, Sarah Solemani and Adrian Scarborough was the Guardian most popular film, with well over 20 million views.

    Cop Out, his online comedy series for Channel 4 and Objective Productions starring Tom Brooke, led to a C4 commission for the TV pilot script, and a development commission for sitcom What You Wish For.

    He has directed sketches for Russell Howard’s Good News. Penelope, his intense short drama starring Juliet Stevenson and Hattie Morahan, won several awards. Veils, a short starring Maureen Lipman and Ray Panthaki, won the UKJFF Short Film Prize 2007 and was selected for several international festivals.

    Dan also works as an editor, with credits including feature film Blooded (released nationwide by Revolver Entertainment) and multi-award-winning HBO documentary This is My Africa featuring Colin Firth and Jon Snow.

    TV editor credits include several factual series for BBC and Discovery.

    His “Wayne Rooney World Cup” youtube film was a runaway sensation, with over 3 million views.

    In his spare time he produces dance music, studies fractals, and moonlights as a restaurant critic for Time Out and speechwriter for the Lord Mayor of London.
